David
Langlois (Director of Medical Imaging):
On their imaging suite SkyCeiling |
|
No one will ever walk up to any of my people and
say: "That was the best chest X-ray I've ever had." All they are going to remember is how they were
treated and where they were made to wait. And ... if
they are waiting and looking at beauty it is going to
be a whole lot different than if they are looking at
a TV set blaring at the wall.

Cheryl Kantor-Goldenberg (DDS):
On her operatory SkyCeilings |
What I didn't expect to happen was that my mood was
going to be enhanced, and my staff's mood and my patients'.
I've had patients say: "This is like a present
that you gave us Cheryl. It is amazing!"

Barbara Charais (RN) and Janet Elmer (RN): Dupont Hospital on their SkyCeilings.
|
|
The staff really like it. They think it is very pretty.
They think it helps their patients focus and be more
comfortable and more relaxed during the labor. It is
even something pleasant for [the patients] to look at.
Especially on the dreary days - the days when there
is a blizzard or thunderstorm and you are in here and
you are like "Wow!" It is nice.

Neil Siegel:
Anaheim Memorial Hospital on their radiology SkyCeiling |
|
It creates a surreal environment and it is very calming
to the patient. The calmer the patient is, the quieter
the patient will be during the examination - less motion
and therefore less artifacts on the scans.

Charisse Hinds (Surgery RN):
Speaking about the use of a SkyCeiling in her surgery area. |
|
We were really looking for something that could really
change the town and we came across and had the opportunity
to look at this. And we were pretty excited about it
just because it is different than anything
else I have ever seen in the surgical area. And patients
immediately respond to it when they're wheeled into
the holding area and we meet and greet them. They (say),
"Oh, Wow!"
So immediately we have something to talk about. They
look at it and we start conversing about it. They feel
very relaxed and it has really changed the whole ambience
of the area.

We found that this product provides a level of features
and the selection of scenery and how it fits within
our engineering requirements has made it a very easy
product to work with.
